Lullington Park Cricket Club

2018– new season, new challenges

We are planning now for a busy season of action in the Park - already the Derbyshire County League fixtures have been published, with the opening games on Saturday 21 April.  The 1stX1, led by Luke Jenkinson with Joe Eaton his vice-captain, entertain Clifton; the seconds with Lee Bingham continuing as skipper, with Ryan Hetherington his vice captain, are away to Sandiacre Town and the thirds, again led by Kevin Sankey, are at home to local rivals Walton on Trent. In the Lichfield Sunday league our first game, with Bill Arnold as captain, is at home to Wishaw on 29 April.

Senior indoor nets will be weekly at Landau Forte Sports Hall starting on Tuesday 9 January, 7.30 - 8.30p.m. with Junior nets at Pingle School Swadlincote starting Monday 29 January 6.00-7.30p.m. Why not come along to these sessions and join us?

And, the highly popular "Pub League" will be back!

Opportunities and player recruitment

We have opportunities for both Senior and Junior players at all levels to join us in the picturesque setting of Lullington Park – our two grounds and modern clubhouse provide the ideal setting for cricket in this rural tip of South Derbyshire.

We might be based in one of the smallest villages in the county but we are one of the biggest clubs fielding three senior teams every Saturday in Derbyshire County League’s Divisions 1, 5S and 8S plus on Sunday a busy programme of Lichfield League matches and traditional social friendly games. The club has also registered interest to compete again in the ECB Under 19 T20.

Lullington Park is a big community based club – the club for you to enjoy cricket in an idyllic setting.  Want to know more then contact our secretary Dave Fern by calling 07850 199422 or e-mailing

2018 – the Season of opportunities for everyone to support our progressive community based club

Our numerous teams face big challenges as they bid for honours in the Derbyshire County League, together with the Lichfield Sunday League, plus we have a busy junior action in the South Derbyshire Development and Burton Youth Leagues.

We welcome your support both in the Park and importantly financially and we have launched a raft of sponsorship and advertising packages that will help finance our constant desire to improve both playing standards, player development and facilities at out two grounds and importantly at the same time reward the sponsor with value for money.

The opportunities range from simple match-ball sponsorship costing as little as £50 through to full title sponsorship of the club – we are sure you will want to know more by clicking here.
